Human Races

Sulini

The Sulini is a fair tall people that is rumored to have elven blood in them. They are a mostly peaceful people but keep a small army for defending their borders against the Yinka neighboring them. Besides that they are a peaceful people mostly living on fishing.

The Myri is a peaceful farming people, very large to their build, both tall and fair, but a simple people that lives in small villages. They are related to the Talath in Bodlea, Emer.

Yinka

The Yinka is a somewhat warlike and barbaric people, they are also a very religious people, willing to kill or die in the name of their god Yugal or their Lord Priest that rules their country.

Dúranaki

The Dúranaki is the strangest of all people in Tanara, they live in the deep forests in the northwest of the country and keeps mostly for themselves. Both men and women of the people often due their hairs in bright colors. They are also the origin of the infamous weapon "Kynac".

Trolls

Big, stupid and very aggressive, most of them only semi sentient but still they are a big danger to all travel in the mountains since they are the size of a grizzly bear and twice as dangerous. There are many different kids of trolls, some live only in the deep forests, some in the mountains and they all have different cultures. Almost all trolls are very sensitive to exposure to sunlight, rumor says they will turn to stone or trees of caught out in the light.

In the north of Jaiman it is rumored to be a race of troll with the intelligence and technology of humans and none of their brothers disadvantages, they are called black troll, no one really knows if they are real of just fiction of the wild north.

Garks

These terrible half apes live somewhere in the east of gray mountains and has only been seen at the outposts there where the empire defend itself against the savage Tanara.

They are short and very muscular, seem only semi intelligent and use crude weapons of stone or wood, they are completely covered in gray or brown fur like animals but seem to be able to organize for raids. They are believed to eat humans.
