A County south of Elkas. An ancient province to Saralis with about 200.000 inh. 98% Humans, most of them Jameri. The Count of Dorman is a very greedy and power hungry man, he have begun to look around for new ways to expand his land, and he has turned his eyes northward, towards the young kingdom of Elkas!
The major income for the country is it's iron mines, traces of the mining can be seen allover the land. Not the least in the capital.
Capital
Dormandra, 16.000 inh. A city infamous for its dark and gloomy appearance, the city is very old, and one can feel it when one wander the old streets. Most remarkable of the city is the great wall that surrounds it, it is a remain from the former era, over 8 meters high, and 3 meters thick, made up from brown-black slag-stone, and the bastion, that have defended the city through all times. The city also has the second largest harbor in all of Saralis, a powerful stronghold from ancient times.
Religion
The past eight years the Cult of Scalu have grown very strong, it have recently become state religion in Dorman, to the fear of its neighbors. A large black citadel has arisen in the center of the city to Scalu's honor. Most of the Gods of Charon have small shrines in the city, and the Lords of Orhan have only one church left. In the villages in the countryside Lords of Orhan are still the most common religion, but that is changing as time goes and especially with the war after 6.054.
Politics
Dorman have through the years been in conflict over the years, last summer was the last time war erupted, and Elkas would have fallen if not the Guardians of the Wyvern had interfered at the last minute and entered the war on Elkas side.
The count have got a new powerful ally with whose help he plans to take over Elkas… The white Lord are willing to help the count with his little problem in return for a safe harbor (Adventures Invasion mm).
6.053 - Elkas falls for the forces of Dorman and Ulor
After 6.054 does Dorman and the forces of Ulor start full out war with Saral, this war escalates even more after the change of ruler ship in Saral in 6.055.
