Cybernetics and Cyborg's

The cyborg's of Appleseed is not as common as they are in for example role-playing games as Cyberpunk. Most cybernetics are on soldiers, getting their enhancements in active duty for being better soldiers, both armor plating and internal weapons are very common.

The most known cyber soldiers are the Imperial America's Green Berets, almost all in those units are full conversion cyborg's and usually very psychotic.

All the cybernetic of Appleseed is also visible, and not discreet at all. Now it is beginning to disappear due to the new technologies with Bioroids, and with them the technology for growing biological replacements. New laws in the more orderly World is also starting to make cybernetics illegal, and finally the fashion have changed, having big metal implants is no longer cool, not even practical.
