NATO/SWAT Body Armor Vest

Description: A bullet-proof vest which offers protection for most .357 Magnum rounds, 9mm rounds and other handgun ammunition. It consists over 50 layers of Kevlar weave. Pouches are provided for ceramic inserts for additional protection. It comes in black (SWAT) or camouflage pattern (NATO).

It provides protection for torso only.

Steel Plate Inserts

Weight: 4.3 kg (6.6 when inserted in vest).

Armor Value: 14

Description: A 10- by 13-inch plate which can be fitted to a NATO vest in the front or back pouch. It provides protection against most low-velocity rifle rounds and all pistol and SMG caliber’s. Paranoid characters can wear plates on both sides (10.9 kg of weight).

On any torso hit at the side of the plate the GM rolls 2D. On a roll of 9+ the round misses the plate.

Description: These are jacket liners that can be worn under a jacket or by themselves.

They protects from hits to torso only.

A lighter steel-plate can be worn with these jackets. It provides AV 12 and weights 2kg and protects at a 7- on a 2D roll.

Ballistic T-shirt

Description: This is a light-weight Kevlar T-shirt that is worn under normal clothing. It protects from hits up to 9mm but it has no padding, so .45, .357mag and buckshot hits will cause at least a light wound.

Kevlar Helmet

Description: A laminated Kevlar/nylon combat helmet of "fritz-design". It protects the head completely from behind and hits from front and sides on a 2D roll of 7+.

Secondary effects could be dangerous to a PC´s health, whiplash or in worst cases broken neck.
