A handful of knights, militia and Esov Murian volunteers managed to hold of the bulk of the Melurian rebel force.

Baron Sevi alone held the enemy army during the first day’s battle only aided by militia and a handful of soldiers and knights. Despite heavy losses they would not budge an inch and the next day Baron Turin came with additional support troops.
Together they held of several more attacks from the numerically superior Melurian rebel force for another day until Lord Vannis Bourne could relive them with the bulk of the Dukes forces and drive the rebels back to their reinforcements around Hœneydar.

Without any rest Lord Vannis Bourne drives the army north to free the besieged in Hœneydar.
