FH Rules
- Rules to be used.
Magic is to be taken from the old system, and when it is done from my revised system, which combines old and new rules. As long as no magic users are in the group all magic is to be mystical and in many cases very powerful for the pc's. They should know that a powerful magician can turn their enemy to ash with just a evil eye. - Skills are as in the new system with the following exceptions:
- Weapon familiarities are for each specific weapon. Not weapon groups as can be bought in both new and old rules.
- Literacy in a language is bought in levels just as speaking the language is. No character gets any free level in that if they don't have the skill enhancer Literate.
- The talent Ambidexterity are bought in three steps, each costing 2 points as in the old rules. Each step takes away 1 from the penalty of using the wrong hand.
- The combat skills brawling and sweep are as in the old rules and cost three points each.
- Magic skill - all magic require a 3/2 skill called magic skill.
- Two weapon combo, this is a very advanced skill to buy,
but it works like this, the character buys a variant of the
skill sweet, and calls it just two weapon combo. Then he buys
familiarity with left handed weapon and a familiarity for the
specific combination he has learned to use.
For example. Ron decides to learn how to fight with his club in right hand and a dagger in his left hand, then he has to buy weapon familiarity: left handed dagger (1pt), weapon familiarity: Combination - Club/Dagger (1pt) and finally he has to buy Two weapon combo (Sweep) (3pt). Now he can use both weapons at the same time, and is he wants to use the left handed weapon without penalty he has to buy three levels of Ambidexterity (6pt) totalling the cost for fighting with two weapons to 11 points except normal familiarities and skills.
