Morâi - Forest Elves - Fair Elves
The Morâi
"The Dark Spirits", it is a word from ancient eras, it is a word that can get any elf in a bad mood, by reminding him of relations he don't want to recognize. They are elves who have turned from the beliefs of the rest of their people; they don't recognize Gaia as a divine power and have instead turned to more dark religions (including Demons and the Dark Gods). Where they originally came from nobody except maybe the elves know about, and they will never tell.
The Morâi does not discriminate women of their race, much because the Morâi women can be as strong and skilled as their males. They are very discriminating against other species though, considering humans and other elves good for slaves, orch's good for sword-sharpeners or arrow-pads.
Tall and slender (6'-7'), usually not as strong as humans but very agile instead, a very beautiful people, one can clearly see the relation to the Elves and the Fairelves. They have Emerald Green eyes and jet-black, Silver or Platinum hair that both men and women tend to wear long.
They tend to dress an a very fashionable manner, often using silk and
satin, preferring to keep the colors simple though, mostly black and
white. (Somewhat like 16 century, but a little simpler)
They have a natural talent to magic as the Fairelves but a completely
different branch of magic.
At sea the Morâi have sleek two masted ships, capable of taking on 80-120 men. The humans have a hard time understanding the Morâi ships, less alone copying the style. They are considered too high to be able to sail without flipping over and they can maneuver even in between reefs as gallantly as human or Orchish ships.
The Morâi prefer small elegant crossbows and straight double edged piercing swords in combat. They seldom wear any armor, instead relying on their agility and parry-weapons in combat.
Forest Elves
This is the most common of all elves, they do not exist at all on the Archipelago but are fairly numerous on the main continents.
They are slightly taller then humans and more slender built. As all other elves they have no facial hair. they eye and hair color can vary as much as with humans and rumors say they can even have darker complexion then normal elves.
In combat they prefer the infamous elven longbows which they wield with deadly accuracy. in close combat they prefer the long elven knifes and if there is war they sometimes use long swords and light steel mails.
Fair Elves
These elves are mostly legend to most people, they do not live on the archipelago and not many know if they live on the continents.
They are taller and fairer then normal elves, very slender built, eye color is usually emerald and their hair varies from white to silver to gold. They have an unearthly beautiful appearance.
They are rumored to be the most skilled magicians in the world and utterly devoted to good and the destruction of evil. Most of their magic counts as holy against the forces of Evil.
