History
A brief history of the events and story behind the Peragi Archipelago, the people living in it etc. focusing on the major events and persons.
Climate
It is a warm and humid place warmed by streams of warm water and volcanic activity, most of the isles are covered by dense jungle, and only the most populated areas burned off for farming and herding.
In the high summer the temperature is about 35°-40°C in the shadows and it is in fall when the great rains come and in the winter it can be as low as 5°-10°C at night, rainweather is common throughout the year but in the fall it is over 30 days continuing rain and hail. In the winter the seas are unsafe due to the constant storms raging, hurricanes and cyclons are not uncommon that season.
Once every 10-20 years the storms are so great that they destroy most buildings and farmland, these storms are feared but inevitable, many are the powerful magicians that have tried to conquer the storms, none so far have succeded.
Flora and Fauna
The Isles
PERAGI - SOLARA - IGNOSS - TOKARA
A series of isles linked together by coral reefs, located west of Dorcade. It have been isolated from major wars and have developed on it's own, in many ways far beyond the knowledge of the humans inland. The isles were originally formed eons ago from volcanic interference, caused the isle to emerge from the sea.
The People
PERAGIANS - MORÂI - ORCH'S
The people living on the isles probably originated from the continent
of Dorcade for thousands of years ago, even before the great wars. Where
the Elves and Orch's came from nobody knows. Due to the humidity and heat
no papers or books survive for a very long time.
