The Mountain Castle of Arature
As with many rumors and legends this one is also true, it is one of the few magical academies in the entire archipelago, they recognize no lord or merchant as a ruler, only taking orders from their own council, the Council of the Mountain.
The Magicians are neutral in all the wars between the Humans, Orch's and Morâi on the isles, their sole dedication is to their own council and to study the arts of the magic, the councils dedication is to fight the forces of darkness.
The Arcanum accepts any race as students, the only thing they ask of them is to never tell anyone about the Arcanum and if called be ready to die in the struggle against Evil. All students are subject to swear a holy oath on this. To fail his word would immediately take his magic away permanently.
